After much delay due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Salman Khan is all set to resume work on his highly anticipated film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The shoot of the action-thriller directed by Prabhudeva will reportedly begin on October 2 at Karjat's ND Studios. Salman, after completing this 15 days schedule in Karjat, will reportedly move to Mehboob Studios in Bandra to wrap the film. Now, as the team gears up to return to sets, the makers and production house are ensuring that all safety measures are followed according to the Standard Operating Procedures laid down by the Government amid the pandemic.
A source close to Radhe told a leading daily that a dedicated team of doctors and Salman's personal crew will be on sets to make sure hygiene and discipline is maintained throughout. "The first round of Covid-19 tests has been taken by the entire crew and no one has tested positive. A second test will be taken by those in close proximity on the set, including the actors and the core team. The crew has also been briefed about the protocols to be followed on set through a special video to avoid last-minute confusion. A dedicated team of doctors, including a personal team of Salman, will be present to maintain hygiene and discipline on set," the source told.
Sohail Khan, Salman's brother and producer of Radhe said, "A health and safety officer, along with a doctor and ambulance, will be stationed on the set. Signage and colour bands for bifurcation of the team will be followed, along with government mandates on insurance. A team of specially trained personnel has been inducted to dispose off the PPE kits and masks after use according to the guidelines provided."
Atul Agnihotri, who is Salman's brother-in-law and producer with Sohail, said that they are expecting to wrap the Karjat schedule in 15-20 days. "The team will be joined by a stunt director from Chennai to finish the action patchwork. We are hoping for a hassle-free shoot by maintaining the utmost level of care throughout," he added. According to the leading daily, the makers have arranged for accommodation for the team near ND Studios so that travel time and risk will be minimal.
