Bollywood stars have reacted to the death of Hathras gang-rape victim, demanding justice for her. Several celebrities have reacted to the demise of the 19-year-old woman, who was gang-raped and assaulted in Hathras by four upper-class men of Uttar Pradesh. The woman passed away at a hospital in Delhi, confirmed her brother.
Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Urmila Matondkar, Farhan Akhtar, Richa Chadha, Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker have come out in public and expressed their disappointment and anger over the case.
Akshay tweeted, "Angry & Frustrated!Such brutality in #Hathras gangrape.When will this stop?Our laws & their enforcement must be so strict that the mere thought of punishment makes rapists shudder with fear!Hang the culprits.Raise ur voice to safeguard daughters & sisters-its the least we can do"
