Hindustaan Badhega Tabhi, Jab Padhenge Sabhi! Sonu Sood launches full scholarship program for underprivileged students

Over the past few months, Sonu Sood has been a saviour for migrant workers, who are stuck in Mumbai amidst the lockdown. The actor has been arranging buses to help them return home. So far, the actor has helped several migrant workers to reach their hometowns safely. Not only this but the actor even set up an app through which he can help migrant workers find jobs and earn money during the pandemic. The app has been named 'Pravasi Rojgar' and will help migrant workers get employment.

Now, adding to his list of good deeds, Sonu has launched a scholarship program in his late mother’s name, which will provide aid to bright, underprivileged students for higher education. Talking about the initiative he said, “During the past few months, I have seen how the underprivileged struggled to pay for their children’s education. While some did not have phones to attend online classes, others did not have money to pay the fees. So, I have tied up with universities across the country to offer scholarships under the name of my mother, Professor Saroj Sood. She used tsonuo teach in Moga (Punjab), free of cost. She had told me to take her work ahead, and I feel that this is the right time.”
