Alia Bhatt has been at the centre of a storm blowing in the Hindi film industry. She has been targeted for nepotism and insider vs outsider debate and has become a target of barbed words directly or indirectly. Recently, her film Sadak 2 also received a lot of negative criticism and was downvoted on IMDb.
However, amid all the storms, she has maintained a dignified silence and took to Instagram to share a quote from JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to take a sly dig at the trolls. She wrote on Instagram, “Don’t let the muggles get you down,” which was a sage piece of advice given to Harry Potter by his best friend Ron Weasley. Muggles is a term used for non-magical people in the universe created by Rowling.
She captioned the post, “If you know you know…” It remains to be seen whether Alia was alluding to the trolls or to Rhea Chakraborty who was arrested by the NCB. Alia’s story came at a time when several Bollywood celebs chose to support Rhea following her arrest.
