Akshay Kumar participated in an Instagram live session with wildlife adventurer and TV host Bear Grylls, ahead of their special episode of Into The Wild With Bear Grylls. Akshay was joined by his Bell Bottom co-star Huma Qureshi as well. Akshay and Bear spoke a lot about their experiences on the show but the session received an unexpected visitor in the form of Ranveer Singh who crashed it with a birthday wish and a hilarious comment.
The live session was interrupted by Ranveer who dropped by to pay Akshay a compliment on his moustache and to wish him a happy birthday. “Mooch looks kadak, Akki (the moustache looks good),” Ranveer said, as conveyed by Huma. Bear also took the opportunity to ask Akshay whether his family approves of his new look that he is sporting for Bell Bottom. To this, Akshay said, “They don’t.”
The promo of Akshay’s episode with Bear has already generated quite a buzz, especially as he is seen drinking tea made out of elephant poop. During the live session, Bear took the opportunity to ask Akshay whether it was challenging for him, to this Akshay said, “Because of ayurvedic reasons, I have cow’s urine everyday, so this was OK,” which took Bear by surprise and he said, “Not too many of my guests say that!”
Bear further said, “When people get super famous, they stop doing things outside their comfort zones, because they get scared of looking vulnerable.” But he said that Akshay was up for anything.
