PeepingMoon.com, in an exclusive piece dated August 11, 2020, informed its readers that Ajay Devgn will be collaborating with Yash Raj Films after several years. While YRF and Ajay are yet to announce the film that marks the directorial debut of Shiv Rawail, a report of an entertainment portal has it that the much-awaited venture will be a superhero film. Not just this, a source close to the development told the portal that Aditya Chopra, the head honcho of YRF, has planned to spin a franchise out of it. The plot of the yet-to-be-titled film is kept under tight wraps.
"It will mark the directorial debut of Shiv Rawail and is a superhero film. Not just that, producer Aditya Chopra has also planned to spin a franchise out of it. The prep over this film is going on since a long time and it is expected to be a big-screen spectacle," the source told.

Ajay's film is said to be a part of YRF's mega Project 50 that marks the golden jubilee of the production house. It will reportedly be announced on late Yash Chopra's birth anniversary that is September 27, 2020, along with several others.
Workwise, Ajay will be seen in Sooryavanshi, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Maidaan, RRR and Thank God. He has signed the official Hindi remake of Kaithi.
