Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan have come a long way. It all started when a candid Sara openly mentioned wanting to date Kartik on Karan Johar's talk show Koffee With Karan 6 back in November 2018. Soon after, the two were introduced to each other at an award show and fuelled the dating rumours. Not only this, the hotshot couple of B-town even bagged a film together - Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal. They even earned the hashtag #SarTik from fans. Love was in the air while they shot for the film but their fairytale like love story did not go on for long.
Soon after the film's wrap, the two reportedly parted ways and that was quite visible with their uncomfortable promotions. Now, there's not a very pleasant news for all the 'SarTik' fans out there. Sara and Kartik, who once shared lovey-dovey photos with each other on Instagram, have unfollowed each other on the social media site. The two are nowhere to be found in each other's 'following' list. Uh oh, sad day for their several fans who loved their chemistry both off and on screen.

Earlier this year, in an interview with an entertainment website, Sara said that she was not dating Kartik. She initially dodged the question and said, “I am dating him in the film. That’s all that matters. Please come and watch us ‘dating’ for 2.5 hours on Valentine’s Day.” However, on being prodded about whether she was dating him in real life, she said, “No, I am not.”
Kartik and Sara never admitted to dating each other however, several media reports had confirmed their relationship last year.
