Director Om Raut left the audience stunned with his visual interpretation of the sacrifice of Tanaji Malusare, a military assistant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in the film titled Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior featuring Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in the lead. Hailed as one of the finest and promising filmmakers, Om is gearing up to tell some riveting tales of bravery. Delighting movie-buffs, Om, early this morning, announced his next directorial with Prabhas in the lead.
The action thriller that marks his maiden collaboration with the pan-India superstar and Bahubali of Indian cinema is titled Adipurush. Like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Om is all set to give the audience a visual spectacle by adding a 3D edge. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Adipurush will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It will reportedly release in theatres in 2022. Adipurush, as per reports, will orbit around the triumph of good over evil. Reportedly, it will go on floors early next year.
Workwise, Prabhas will be seen with Pooja Hedge in Radha Krishna Kumar's Radhe Shyam. The film is scheduled to release in 2021. Apart from this, he has signed Nag Ashwin's next with Deepika Padukone.
