After five months since COVID-19 lockdown, Bollywood is gearing up to resume shoots of pending films and also start new ones. Aamir Khan, who was all set to return to the theatres with Laal Singh Chaddha in December this year, had to postpone the plan due to the pandemic. Now, as countries are opening for visitors gradually, Aamir jetted off to Turkey to resume work on Laal Singh Chaddha. Reportedly, nearly 40% of the shoot is pending.
Pictures of Aamir at one of the international airports in Turkey surfaced on fan clubs dedicated to him. Posing with airport officials, the superstar is seen flaunting his grey hair. Dressed in black pants and grey tee, Aamir's favourite neck pillow makes an appearance too.

Apart from Aamir, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar also travelled to the United Kingdom to commence the shoot of his upcoming film titled Bell Bottom. He was accompanied by Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta along with the crew of the high-end espionage thriller.
Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Manav Vij and Vijay Sethupathi. The film was initially scheduled to release on December 25, 2020, however, due to the pandemic, it has been pushed forward. The new theatrical release date is yet to be announced.
