While the Mumbai Police was deep into investigating Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the late actor's family in Patna filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. An FIR was filed by Sushant's father K.K. Singh at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station in which he showed a lack of confidence in the Mumbai Police’s probe that is going on for over 40 days now. He also made serious allegations against Rhea by filing cases under IPC Sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420 and 306. Apart from this, Mr. Singh accused Rhea of conspiracy and abetment of suicide.
In the FIR, Mr. Singh claimed that Rhea sabotaged Sushant's plan of quitting films and start organic farming with his friend and Pavitra Rishta co-star Mahesh Shetty. Now, in the latest development, a team of lawyers reached Rhea's residence in Mumbai today evening. Advocate Satish Manshinde’s associates are said to be at the actress's home for further investigation. Rhea's family members including Showik Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty and Sandhya Chakraborty will be going for anticipatory bail and have refused to meet the Bihar police, who will summon her to join the investigation in Sushant's hometown Patna.

Mr. Singh, in his FIR, has also alleged that Rhea had the passwords to all Sushant's accounts and took that away with her along with laptop, jewelry, credit cards, and medical documents days before the actor's untimely demise.
