Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and his model girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades welcomed their first child, a son, on July 18 last year. The news of the two becoming parents was confirmed by veteran filmmaker JP Dutta's daughter, Nidhi. Soon, Arjun also announced the name of his son on Instagram and it's Arik Rampal. Every now and then Arjun and his girlfriend Gabriella kept sharing a glimpse of their son Arik.
Today on the little one's first birthday, Arjun and Gabriella have finally shared full photos of Arik. Sharing several photos of him, Arjun thanked all his fans for their patience. He wrote, "On Arik’s first birthday, it’s time to share his love with my insta family. Thank you all for your patience and all the love you have poured upon us. Meet the little Rampal. Arik. Happy birthday my boy. "
He also shared a video made by his 'super talented' daughter Mahikaa Rampal.
Gabriella too shared a series of photos for the little one's birthday and wrote, "Happy 1 to the love of my life. Thank you for giving me joy and purpose beyond what I could have ever imagined. Grateful to watch you become a little human... you are so loved and we are so lucky. @arikrampal19"
On July 8, Arjun and Gabriella also celebrated their anniversary.
Earlier in a conversation with a leading daily, Gabriella had mentioned how the couple thought of naming their son ‘Arik’. She said, “Arik is a Hindu name. In Sanskrit it means ruler of rulers. We just loved the name. We were looking for something which was easy to pronounce (laughs). I think it is a very strong name, and it is short and easy to pronounce for my family and friends, who are not from India. I wanted to name him Ari, which is a Hebrew name. Then, Arjun came up with the name Arik.”
