Throwback: When Salman Khan promised to offer work to Saroj Khan after she stated not having enough projects in the industry

Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away from cardiac arrest in the wee hours of Friday on July 3, 2020. She was admitted to Guru Nanak hospital on June 20 after complaining of chest pain. The veteran choreographer was 72.

Saroj, who was lovingly called 'Masterji' in Bollywood worked in over 200 films and was loved by many. Now, we got our hands on a throwback interview of the dance master where she spoke about how Bollywood actor Salman Khan had come to her rescue when she stopped getting work in the industry. She reportedly told the news media that Salman called her to his residence and promised to offer her work. She also added that while she can’t give away the details about the project, she knows that Salman will remain the man of his words.

In an earlier interview with a leading daily, she had revealed that she misses working on the sets of movies. She also added that she had never in her life gone to anyone’s office asking for work. She wanted her work to speak for itself. Elaborating more, she added that she loves being on the sets of the films and would love to choreograph more often.
