Deepika Padukone wishes her 'greatest off-screen hero' father Prakash Padukone on his 65th birthday with a throwback picture

Deepika Padukone, on her social media, has time and again given her fans a glimpse into her childhood and her personal life. Be it her throwback pictures with family or loved-up clicks with husband Ranveer Singh, she is delighting her admirers. The daughter of ace badminton player Prakash Padukone, Deepika can't stop gushing over her father and keeps sharing unseen pictures with him. Today, as the Padma Shri awardee turned 65, the actress showered love on him.

Deepika, on Instagram, shared her childhood picture with Prakash and called him her 'greatest off-screen hero'. "To the greatest off-screen hero I could have ever had! Thank You for showing us that being a true champion is not only about one’s professional achievements, but also about being a good human being! Happy 65th Birthday, Pappa !," Deepika wrote while sharing the throwback picture.

Workwise, Deepika was last seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. She will be seen with Ranveer in Kabir Khan's 83 and will shortly begin working on Shakun Batra's next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She also has the Hindi remake of The Intern and Madhu Mantena's Mahabharat in the pipeline.
