After being in the film industry for nearly four decades now, Anupam Kher is all set to do a project with his son Sikandar Kher. While it is not clear yet whether it will be a show or a film, Sikandar recently talked about the collaboration with his father.
When a leading daily recently chatted with Sikandar he confirmed the news by saying, “It’s great to be offered work during the lockdown. I have never worked with my father. A lot of people who saw his picture on the sets of Sooryavanshi probably felt that we are in it together but we’re not. This is the first time we have an offer to work together in a project. It was a bit rushed when they approached us initially; in fact they wanted to shoot it during the lockdown. But gradually, the makers felt they could flesh it out better with a little time on their hand. So, now, we’re waiting to know what happened. Honestly, it will be amazing to work with dad. I have only seen him work for almost 40 years, relentlessly. He’s barely ever been home. This is the longest that dad stayed indoors. So, for me, this is a chance to be around him and work with him. Keeping my fingers crossed for now.”

Sikandar is Kirron Kher's son with her first husband Gautam Berry but was brought up by Kirron and Anupam after the two got married in 1985.
