After Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi, Kiara Advani's 'Indoo Ki Jawani' to reportedly have a digital release

The COVID19 lockdown has hit the Bollywood industry hard. Not only has the production and shooting of several films stopped but the release dates of several lined up movies have also been pushed. Films like Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi have skipped theatrical release and switched OTT platforms instead. Now, looks like Kiara Advani's Indoo Ki Jawani is also looking forward for a digital release.

A source informed an entertainment portal, "Kiara's film is completely ready and the post-production work is also almost done. The film was being planned for a release in the first week of June. Now, Nikkhil Advani and Monisha Advani, from Emmay Entertainment are in talks to release it on the web."

Backed by Nikkhil Advani, along with Madhu Bhojwani, Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Stephen, Indoo Ki Jawani marks the Hindi directorial debut of Bengali writer-filmmaker Abir Sengupta. Indoo Ki Jawani is touted as a coming-of-age comedy film. It also features Aditya Seal and Mallika Dua.
