Amid COVID-19 lockdown, Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma and mother Salma Khan return to Mumbai from their Panvel farmhouse

Salman Khan along with a few family members and industry friends headed out to his farmhouse in Panvel a couple of days before the nationwide lockdown was announced. While his mother Salma Khan and sister Arpita Khan Sharma were with the superstar, his father Salim Khan, brothers Arbaaz and Sohail stayed back at their Bandra residence. The mini getaway which was scheduled to last for a few days, proved to be a longer locked-down period at the farmhouse. Now, after nearly 40 days, as the lockdown continues, Arpita along with Salma and her children has returned to Mumbai.

Salman, during a chat session with Waluscha De Sousa on Instagram for his upcoming song Tere Bina with Jacqueline Fernandez, revealed that for the first time in his illustrious career, he is sitting idle. Expressing his desire to get back to sets, the superstar told that he intended to spend time with his family. He further added that after a few days, Arpita and her children Ahil and Ayat with Salma have returned to Mumbai. "I was wanting to spend quality time with family, my family was here with me, Arpita, her kids, mummy, all were here. But now they have returned home," Salman told.
