Watch: Rishi Kapoor’s last video was him waiting patiently in the car while Neetu Kapoor buys vegetables at a grocer’s

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away yesterday morning at Mumbai. He finally succumbed to leukemia that had reared its ugly head in 2018. As the entire nation is grieving for his passing and paying their tribute to the legend with their heartfelt words, poems and quotes, we bring to you Rishi’s last public appearance before he became ill and was hospitalized. 

In the video, we can see Neetu Kapoor buying vegetables from a greengrocer while Rishi patiently waits for his wife in the car. The video is shot by a paparazzo and as the actor spots him panning the camera towards him in the car he pulls up his window. However, graciously he lowers it down and gives the paparazzo an acknowledging nod that makes his day. We get to hear the paparazzo saying, “Thank you” and Rishi nodding his head graciously.

The video was taken at Prarthana Samaj, Mumbai last week before the actor fell ill. Rishi, a veteran of many films with a career spanning forty decades worked with several actresses and actors. He passed away at the age of 67 and is survived by his wife Neetu, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her family.
