In the wake of Coronavirus shutdown, Alia Bhatt extends monetary support to those in need; Vicky Kaushal contributes a whopping Rs. 1 crore

The sudden outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus aka COVID-19 has brought the whole world to a standstill. With the number of infected increasing at an alarming rate per day, shoots of web series, television shows and films all across the nation have been cancelled until further notice. This shutdown has burnt a hole in the pockets of daily wage employees and the production team. Celebrities are leaving no stone unturned to extend financial help by contributing to the relief fund set up by the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi as well as the one by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Joining the Bollywood brigade are Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. 

Alia, today, on her Instagram stories, told that she will be donating to both, the PM-CARES Fund as well as Maharashtra Chief Minister's relief fund. The actress expressed gratitude towards those working for the safety of the country.
