COVID-19: Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli lend support to PM CARES and Maharashtra CM's Relief Fund; Kartik Aaryan donates Rs 1 crore

Many Bollywood celebrities have come forward to support Narendra Modi's PM CARES fund in order to do their bit to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Actor Akshay Kumar has announced that he will donate Rs 25 crore to the fund while other celebs like Varun Dhawan, Salman Khan, Rajkummar Rao and many more have also contributed to PM Modi's funds and the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.

Now joining the bandwagon are Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. The two shared on Instagram that they will be lending their support to the PM-CARES Fund and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Without revealing the amount unlike other celebs, Virat wrote, “Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (Maharashtra).
