Deepika Padukone responds to Farah Khan's request of not sharing workout videos, says 'it keeps Ranveer Singh and me going'

Ever since the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray announced a complete lockdown due to Coronavirus from the midnight of March 24, B-Town has come to a standstill. With shoots stalled, gyms, malls and other public places shut amidst a curfew-like situation all across, they are currently homebound. Celebrities, who are known to be fitness freaks, have been working out at home and also share videos on Instagram. While their fans are in awe of their dedication and hard work, Farah Khan seemed to be miffed with workout videos. The filmmaker, on Instagram, issued a request to not share them as people have more important things to focus on. Now, in the latest development, Deepika Padukone reacted to Farah's post. Deepika, who made her debut with Farah's Om Shanti Om, in an interview, told that putting up such videos keeps her husband Ranveer Singh and her spirit up.

“I know a lot of people have a problem with exercise videos that are going up, but to be honest, putting up exercise videos -- rather, exercising, not putting up videos -- it’s more about how you feel. It’s not really about how you look. It really keeps Ranveer and me going. It really gets us through the day," Deepika told.

Farah, in her video dated March 26, said, "I have a humble request to all ‘celebrities’ and ‘stars’ that please stop making your workout videos and bombarding us with it. I can understand that you all are privileged and you don’t have any other worries in this global pandemic except for looking after your figures. But some of us, most of us have bigger concerns during this crisis. So, please have mercy on us and stop posting your workout videos. And, if you can’t stop then please don’t feel bad, if I unfollow you."
