Had only one day of shoot left but everyone's safety is more important: Ananya Panday on 'Khaali Peeli' being put on hold due to COVID-19

Ananya Panday is not only practicing self-isolation at home with her family but also constantly urging others to do it too. The actress is sharing all that she is doing at home to motivate others and well, looks like Jr. Panday is having a fun time. But unfortunately, the sudden outbreak of Coronavirus and the lockdown has affected not one but two films of Ananya. The actress who was shooting for Ishaan Khatter starrer Khaali Peeli on March 15, 2020, revealed that their film has just one day of shoot remaining. Now, the delay of this project will further push her next with Shakun Batra starring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. 

Talking about Khaali Peeli, Ananya said, "We had only one day of shoot left, but we couldn't finish the film because everyone's safety is more important. I hope things get back to normal soon." About her yet-untitled film with Shakun, she said, "Shakun's film was supposed to kick off this month. Now, we don't know when we will start the project."

The 21-day lockdown has come as a further setback to the daily wage workers, so Ananya promises to make her contribution. "I will make my contribution to the relief fund that has been set up by the Guild."
