Kartik Aaryan's upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, ever since its announcement, has managed to make headlines for the right reasons. The Anees Bazmee directorial which is a sequel to 2007's film by the same name has undoubtedly piqued the interest of the audience. Now, after completing the Jaipur schedule, the team of this horror-comedy is all set to take it to Lucknow. Kartik, who returned to the bay to fulfill work commitments before starting the Lucknow schedule, will be shooting for a month. The actor, who injured underwent surgery for a ligament tear, will resume filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 without a long break. Talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and a Lucknow connect, Kartik told that he is excited to return to the city after having shot for Pati Patni Aur Woh last year.
“I shot in Lucknow last year for Pati Patni Aur Woh and now I am going to be back in the city for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Gonna shoot across the city for a month-long and that makes me really excited. People of Lucknow have always been really sweet and warm towards me and I love the food there,” Kartik told.
During the Jaipur schedule, Kartik, on his social media platforms, kept fans updated on the proceedings of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. From sharing his quirky look to giving a glimpse into his chemistry with Kiara Advani, the actor took the social media zone by storm. Well, with the Jaipur BTS causing a stir, we can't wait to dig into the happenings during the Lucknow shoot.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa was directed by Priyadarshan and featured Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja in central roles along with Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and others in important roles. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, apart from Kartik and Kiara, stars Tabu. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani and is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020.
