Veteran actress Neena Gupta is known to never shy away from speaking about her personal life in the open. In fact, her 'bols' decision to raise her daughter and celebrated designer Masaba Gupta alone and living life on her own terms has inpired many other women around her.
Recently, in an interview with a portal, Neena once again talked about her personal life and her daughter Masaba's divorce with husband Madhu Mantena. Claiming that she was 'devastated' and it was Masaba who helped her come in terms with it, Neena said, "On the contrary, she helped me. I was devastated, and I used to talk to her and she helped me go through it. These youngsters are very smart, this younger generation is very smart."
Talking about relationships, she further quipped how she wouldn't want her daughter to enter a live-in relationship earlier but now is okay with the idea because of all the divorces she is witnessing around her. "Itna paisa kharch karo shaadi mei, itni mehnat karo, itna taam jhaam karo aur uske baad aap divorce karlo, arre yaar, toh live-in karlo. I think I have changed my mind during the last 3-4 years," she mentioned, adding, "Not just her separating, but seeing things around me and not just hers. I feel times are changing, especially in the big towns."
On the work front, Neena was last seen in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which reunited her with Badhaai Ho actors - Ayushmann Khurrana and Gajraj Rao.
