US President Donald Trump is on his maiden visit to India with First Lady Melania Trump. In his speech, Donald praised Indian cinema and mentioned some of the iconic films like Sholay and Shah Rukh Khan's DDLJ. "This is the country that produces 2000 movies a year from the hub of genius and creativity known as Bollywood. All over the planet, people take great joy in scenes of bhangra, music, dance, romance and drama, and classic Indian films like DDLJ and Sholay," he had said.
On Friday night, SRK's wife who is a celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan organized an event and chatted with the media. When asked about Trump mentioning SRK's blockbuster DDLJ in his speech, Gauri said, "Maybe he should make DDLJ part 2, that's the next plan. I think he will do that. I think I am gonna tell Aditya Chopra to make part 2 so every President, Prime Minister who enters India should discuss that."
Well, looks like DDLJ's sequel is indeed on the cards!
