Bollywood's charming heartthrob and an actor par excellence, Shahid Kapoor celebrates his 39th birthday today(February 25). The star is currently shooting for his upcoming film Jersey is in Chandigarh. Considering it is the birthday of Kabir Singh of Bollywood, fans have been pouring out their love on social media since midnight. While Shahid is neck deep busy with work, his family including his wife Mira Rajput, children Misha and Zain made the occasion special by jetting to Chandigarh to be with him. Making his 39th birthday a memorable do, Mira, arranged for cakes for her husband.
Pictures and videos from the celebration went viral on social media platforms. Shahid, in those fan club posts, can be seen cutting the cake with Mira and father Pankaj Kapur in attendance. The Jab We Met actor is seen in a black sweatshirt while Mira is dressed in jeans and tee. Like a doting wife, Mira fed a piece of cake to Shahid while Pankaj is cheering for them. For the unversed, Pankaj will be playing Shahid's coach in Jersey.
Mira, on her Instagram stories, shared a selfie from the late-night birthday party. Captioning it, 'Happy Birthday to the love of my life', she made us all go 'aww'.

Workwise, Shahid was last seen in Kabir Singh. He is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Jersey. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and will be directed by Gowtham Tinnauri and is jointly produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts and Aman Gill's Brat Films. It will release on August 28, 2020. Shahid is said to star in Karan Johar's next, a patriotic film.
