‘Baahubali’ team welcomes US President Donald Trump to India after POTUS shares the mashup video of Prabhas

Prabhas’ Baahubali has become the lore of popular culture. His character has become India’s very own superhero and continues to be a fodder for countless memes on social media. Recently, after US President Donald Trump shared the viral video of a Baahubali mashup, the film’s team took to Twitter to welcome the POTUS to India and called the country ‘The land of Baagubali’. The edited video shows a mashup of Trump and Prabhas from the film Baahubali: The Conclusion. Trump shared the video that swiftly went viral. 

The tweet was shared more than 17,000 times in just two hours. In the video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and First Lady Melania Trump also make an appearance. Melania’s face was superimposed on Ramya Krishnan’s character Sivagami who plays the role of foster mother to Prabhas. The video showed Trump riding horses, fighting in battles and wielding a sword.

Today, at the Namaste Trump programme, the President spoke about Bollywood, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Shah Rukh Khan’s DDLJ and Amitabh Bachchan’s, Dharmendra’s and Hema Malini’s Sholay. Trump received a resounding welcome at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. After meeting with PM Modi, Trump will be meeting with President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
