It ain't an unknown fact that Mahesh Bhatt is a doting father to three daughters, namely, Pooja Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt. The filmmaker leaves no stone unturned to make his princesses feel special. Similarly, as Pooja turned a year older today (February 24), Mahesh shared a heartwarming post for her on his Instagram account. Mahesh along with his daughters from his second wedding with Soni Razdan, Alia and Shaheen was clicked at their home production-Vishesh Films office on Sunday evening, probably to celebrate Pooja's 48th birthday.
Mahesh, while wishing his eldest daughter, shared a picture of Pooja, Shaheen and Alia. With a note in her hand, the Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin actress is seen flashing the happiest smile. "I did not give you the gift of life, but rather, life gave me the gift of you. Happy birthday Pooja!" Mahesh wrote.
Talking about Pooja, she made her acting debut with father Mahesh's directed TV film titled Daddy at the age of 17. She then went on to feature in films like Sadak, Junoon, Zakhm, Border and many others. She was last seen in the English language film Everybody Says I'm Fine! in 2001 and then resorted to direct Paap in 2004 and Jism 2 in 2012 to name a few. Now, she will return to screens with Sadak 2 that reunites her with Sanjay Dutt and shall share the screen space with step-sister Alia and Aditya Roy Kapur for the first time.
Pooja is the daughter of Mahesh and Kiran aka Lorraine Bright(maiden name). She has a brother named Rahul Bhatt, who is also an actor.
