Kangana Ranaut is a mirror reflection of former Tamil Nadu CM late J Jayalalithaa's younger self in her latest look poster from 'Thalaivi'

Kangana Ranaut, after delivering an endearing and strong performance as Jaya in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga, is all set to take us on a journey with her to learn about the life of former Tamil Nadu CM, late J Jayalalithaa through her biopic. Titled Thalaivi, the film will revolve around how a leading actress gave up her career at its peak to serve the public of Tamil Nadu as a politician. While Kangana's look as a politician and older Jayalalithaa aka Thalaivi was shared last year, the makers, today, unveiled her picture as the latter's younger self.

On the occasion of J Jayalalithaa's 72nd birthday anniversary, the makers shared a picture of Kangana where she is seen sporting the iconic white saree of the late actress turned CM. With a red bindi on her forehead and hair done into a sleek bun, the Panga actress was a mirror reflection of Thalaivi.
