Acclaimed actor Irrfan, who has is back on the sets and has wrapped up Angrezi Medium after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, shared a heartfelt message for his fans as he unveiled the first look from his upcoming film. The video, which has Irrfan's voiceover, features some BTS pictures and snippets from the shoot. It begins with Irrfan claiming that the film is extremely special for him, adding that he wished to promote the film with as much love but the 'unwanted' guests in his body don't permit him to. Further talking about his illness, he claims that there is no way out than to remain positive and says that it is the same positivity with which the film has been made. He further hoped that the film will make the audience cry and laugh both. He signed off by saying, "Enjoy the trailer, be kind to everyone and watch the film."
Director Homi Adajania shared the message on his Instagram and wrote, "From my friend, from th heart. I’m not really sure how all this happened, but it did. And it still is... And it’s very special" He even revealed that the film's trailer will be out tomorrow on February 13, 2020.
Angrezi Medium is the sequel to the widely appreciated 2017 entertainer Hindi Medium. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Homi, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Radhika Madan - who plays Irrfan's daughter. Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be seen as a cop in the film. The first look poster of the film has also been unveiled and it features Radhika wearing a school uniform as she hugs Irrfan, who is dressed as Britain's Royal Palace guard.

The other actors in Angrezi Medium include Pankaj Tripathi, Dimple Kapadia, Myrah Dandekar, Poorvi Jain and Manu Rishi. Angrezi Medium is scheduled to release on March 20, 2020.
