Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are currently busy promoting their upcoming film, Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal. The film shows love stories of two different eras -— the first is set in the late 1980s–early nineties, and unfolds between Raghu and Leena. The other love story, set in present time, happens between Veer and Zoe. While Kartik plays Raghu and Veer, Sara has been cast as Zoe and Arushi Sharma plays Leena.
The lead pair was recently in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for the promotions and even shook a leg on their film's song Galat, which is the reprised version of Twist. However, Kartik took Sara by suprise when he spontaneously picked her up off her feet. She held on to Kartik soon after.

Kartik's recent act with Sara totally reminded us of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. During Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Varun managed to take Alia by surprise by picking her up and he continued it during Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Kalank promotions. Looks like Kartik is learning some promotional tips from Varun!
Meanwhile, Love Aaj Kal is slated to release on February 14. It also stars Randeep Hooda.
