Did Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt give Armaan Jain's Mehendi ceremony a skip due to Rishi Kapoor's hospitalisation in Delhi?

Rishi Kapoor, after undergoing treatment for cancer in New York City from September 2018, returned to the bay hale and hearty last year on September 8. However, as per reports, the veteran actor, who was in Delhi to attend his sister Ritu Nanda's last rites, has been hospitalised in the Capital. According to the report on an entertainment portal, Rishi, who is currently shooting for his film Sharmaji Namkeen, has been admitted to a hospital for an unknown reason. This news came across soon after Rishi, his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor and his beau Alia Bhatt went missing for the Bobby actor's nephew Armaan Jain's mehendi ceremony held on Saturday.

Ranbir and Alia, who will be seen together in Brahmastra, had planned to perform at Armaan's mehendi but had to cancel it owing to a family emergency if, reports are to be believed. The couple jetted off to Delhi on Saturday evening to be with Rishi and Neetu. Alia is also said to have wrapped the ongoing shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi to be with Ranbir and his parents.

Rishi and Neetu travelled to New York City in September 2018 for the former's cancer treatment. Amidst several speculations, the Kapoors maintained silence but it was in April last year that the nation got to know about Rishi's illness. After residing in the Big Apple for 11 months 11 days, the couple returned to their hometown.
