Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' ft. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt made former International cricketer Jonty Rhodes 'laugh, cry and get goosebumps'

Former South-African batsman Jonty Rhodes is totally bowled over by Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Gully Boy and said that he laughed, cried, and had goosebumps while watching it during a flight. The Kings XI Punjab fielding coach Jonty was travelling to India while he saw the film and wrote on Twitter, "Been listening to the GullyBoy soundtrack ever since meeting @SiddhantChturvD last year at an event, finally got to watch the entire movie on my @emirates to India last night. Thanks to subtitles, I laughed; cried and had goosebumps @RanveerOfficial @aliaa08@kalkikanmani"

Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who met Jonty last year at an event in Mumbai, commented on the same, "Oh yes!! I am glad you enjoyed it sir (sic)."

The Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy was based on Mumbai street rappers Vivian Fernandes, aka Divine, and Naved Shaikh, aka Naezy, and how they made it big with their rapping skills.
