What! Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan to take home a fat pay cheque of Rs. 1.5 crore for attending a diaper brand event, courtesy Taimur Ali Khan?

It won't be wrong to say Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the most powerful couple in Bollywood right now. Apart from being the first choice of filmmakers for their projects, the Pataudi couple is a favourite with brands, courtesy to their popularity. However, this time, they've got to thank their 3-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan. Well, yes. According to reports of a leading daily, Kareena and Saif have been roped in as the face of a popular diaper brand. While one of the key reasons for zeroing down on them was their star-power and the other was undoubtedly the unprecedented fame of Taimur, who is adored by the entire nation. Now, after initial rejections, the report stated that Saif-Kareena finally gave a positive nod, but for a heavy price. A source close to the development informed the daily that the couple will be attending the brand's event in the city and will take home a fat pay cheque of Rs. 1.5 crore.

"The head honchos of the brand were eager to get Saif-Kareena on board and have been in talks with them for over a year. While their star power was the primary driving factor, one of the reasons for reaching out to the couple was their son Taimur Ali Khan's popularity that cuts across age groups. Although the duo had turned down the offer earlier, they did a rethink when the brand officials persisted over the past few months. It was only recently that they decided to lend their face to the product. They are expected to take home a fat pay cheque of Rs 1.5 crore for a three-hour appearance today," the source told the leading daily.
