The actress, during an interview with a leading daily for her upcoming film Chhapaak, revealed that she relishes on authentic Sindhi food from a sweet mart in Khar with her husband Ranveer Singh every Sunday.
Deepika, delving deeper, said they polish off Dal Pakwan with Kadhi, which is consumed in every Sindhi household on Sundays. She further added that she loved Sindhi food much before she married Ranveer, who is a Sindhi himself. She then told that Sai Bhaji and Sindhi Curry are her favourites from the cuisine. Not to forget, Deepika, who is a true blue South Indian, never fails to enjoy South delicacies like coffee and spicy rasam. Her mother Ujjala Padukone ensures to stock them up in Deepika's kitchen.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018 in Italy with close family members in attendance. They will star with each other in Kabir Khan's '83 which will release on April 10, 2020. Speaking of Chhapaak, apart from Deepika, the film stars Vikrant Massey. It is directed by Meghna Gulzar and will hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
