On the occasion of Simmba completing a year, the makers of Akshay Kumar's Sooryavasnhi shared a special glimpse of the three worlds of Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Rohit Shetty Picturez shared on Twitter the first video of Sooryavanshi featuring the power-packed trio - Akshay as Sooryvanshi, Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Ajay Devgn as Simmba.
Akshay shared it on Instagram and captioned the video as, "#RohitShettyCopUniverse celebrates 1 year of Simmba with the power-packed trio Singham, Simmba and #Sooryavanshi. Get ready...aa rahi hai police, 27th March, 2020!" After building excitement with a few glimpses of Ranveer's Simmba and Ajay's Singham, the video shows the first glimpse of Akshay as Sooryavanshi. The video ends with the trio's climax scene for which they shot in Hyderabad back in October. Thrice the fun, thrice the action and thrice the entertainment assured in the Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe with the trio - Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
Sooryavanshi marks Akshay’s return to the action genre. Talking about it, Akshay had earlier said, "Kesari had a lot of action too, but that was a different setup. It was amazing to get back to the choppers, cars, motor-bikes, handto-hand combats, kicks and punches. Rohit and I discussed things during the shoot and did stuff together. He is an experienced director, having done so many action films."
Sooryavanshi stars Akshay as ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi and is scheduled for a March 27, 2020 release. Sooryavanshi is being produced by Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
