It won't be wrong to say Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the most adored couple in Bollywood. From their films together to mushy moments, they manage to steal our love every time. While Deepika is a loving and doting wife, Ranveer is the man we all need and the actress won't deny. Deepika, who is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Chhapaak in which she plays the role of an acid attack victim, during an interview with a leading daily, gushed about Ranveer. She told men like the actor don't mind their female partners being at the forefront as they are confident about themselves and their spouses.
"They are confident about themselves, they are confident about their spouses. They don’t mind their women being at the forefront,” Deepika told.
Narrating an incident when she reached home late after a long day at work, Deepika said she didn't have to worry about Ranveer being upset. She further stated that in such cases where women don't have to bother about how their husbands will react, they can focus on their work.
“I’d had a long day, but I didn’t feel anxious about whether he would be upset about me coming home late or because I hadn’t called. I have been in relationships where I didn’t have that. When you don’t have to worry about such things, it allows you to focus on work,” Deepika added.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018 in Italy with close family members in attendance. They will star with each other in Kabir Khan's '83 which will release on April 10, 2020. Speaking of Chhapaak, apart from Deepika, the film stars Vikrant Massey. It is directed by Meghna Gulzar and will hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
