Ever since the trailer of Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film, Chhapaak has released, the excitement for the film has been paramount. Her stunning transformation as an acid attack survivor has left everyone pleasantly surprised. Today, we got our hands on a new and unseen still from the film and it will surely make your wait for the film more difficult. Unlike the trailer where Deepika is seen with a scarred and disfigured face, the still has her without prosthetics dressed in school uniform as a student.
With blue kurta and white pyjama and dupatta, Deepika nails her character to the T. She is seen in a no make-up look as a plain simple school girl with a classmate. Her ponytail complements her overall look. Deepika is playing the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the film. Vikrant Massey plays the male lead in the film which is directed by Meghna Gulzar.
The film will release on January 10, 2020, and is the maiden production venture of Deepika as well.
