The second trailer of Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has just dropped and it shows the various facets and dilemmas of the Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. The second trailer shows Ajay lock horns with Saif and indulge in a deadly war against each other while Kajol is bold, strong and resolute.
The trailer shows extravagant and elaborate sword fights and warfare, exquisite costumes and jewelry and larger-than-life sets along with exemplary courage and battle strategies traversing a not-so-friendly terrain. The film is set in 1670 when Marathas waged a battle against the Mughals to regain the fort at Kondana.

Saif plays the role of Mughal army commander Udaybhan, while Ajay plays the titular character along with Kajol who plays his wife Savitribai Malusare. Sharad Kelkar plays the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The batter depicted in the trailer is called the Battle of Sinhagad.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is directed by Om Raut and it has been bankrolled by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film will release on January 10, 2020.
