Ayan Mukerji's upcoming mythological fantasy drama Brahmastra is amongst the highly awaited films of 2020. With real lovebirds and powerhouses of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt sharing the screen space for the first time, the buzz surrounding the project is naturally high. While the makers of Brahmastra are yet to announce its release date, the team is leaving no stone unturned to wrap up the final schedule in Varanasi. The final schedule, if reports are to be believed, comprises of Ranbir's and Alia's song, which is crucial to the narrative. And recently pictures of the actors filming the dance sequence went viral on social media platforms proving that the fantasy drama is about to draw curtains.
Alia and Ranbir, who were in the city of temples in earlier this year, had to abort the shoot owing to the former's ill health. However, after shooting for a larger-than-life climax in Manali, Ranbir and Alia headed back to Varanasi to complete the pending portions. Speaking of the videos and pictures that went viral, we can see Isha aka Alia and Shiva, played by Ranbir, dressed in casual along the banks of the Ganga river. Matching steps with each other on the Guleria Ghat, the duo makes for a perfect couple and there ain't a denial. For a dance step in the song, Ranbir showcases his toned abs while Alia couldn't stop admiring.

Brahmastra, apart from Ranbir- Alia, features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagararjun and Dimple Kapadia in important roles. Shah Rukh Khan is said to be a part of the film in an important cameo and has shot for the same at a studio in Mumbai before the cast headed for their Manali schedule. Brahmastra, produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions, is said to release during Summer 2020.
