Dabangg 3: 'People are trying to get two minutes of fame by linking themselves with us,' says Salman Khan on 'Hud Hud Dabangg' song controversy

Salman Khan's upcoming action cop drama Dabangg 3 has managed to make the right amount of noise and has been grabbing attention since the day it was announced. From tough action stunts to foot-tapping numbers, the film is a perfect blend of entertainment. While the nation was in admiration of Salman's character Chulbul Pandey's signature song titled Hud Hud Dabangg, certain sections of the society raised objection over its video. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, a few days ago, demanded the Central Board of Film Certification to refrain from issuing a clearance certificate of the film. The group claimed that the song has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community and has degraded sages. Salman, who maintained silence over this controversy, spoke regarding the same during the launch of the song Munna Badnaam Hua. The actor said that people are linking themselves with the film to seek attention and fame. He further stated that controversies are part and parcel of the industry.

"I am glad people consider Dabangg 3 a big film. Earlier, when we did a film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, there was a controversy regarding its title but it was dismissed. So, such controversies are part and parcel of this industry. I don't think there is anything objectionable in the film because of which controversy can be created. Hud Hud Dabangg is our song since the beginning. People are just trying to get two minutes of fame by linking themselves with us. They try to gain some publicity out of it and they get it too. Fans also support them. So, it's good. I don't have any issues with it," Salman told during the event.
