John Abraham will next be seen in Anees Bazmee's comedy caper Pagalpanti, which features an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Urvashi Rautela and Kriti Kharbanda. The film is slated to hit theatres on November 22. Now adding to his interesting lineup of films, we hear that the actor is all set to collaborate with Nikkhil Advani yet again for a film on Gorkha Regiment, titled Gorkha. Confirming the same, John told a leading daily, "Yes, Nikkhil and I are jointly co-producing this film. He will be directing me in it."
The two were supposed to work together in period sports drama 1911, which is based on a true story. It is about a football match that took place between the Mohun Bagan Club of India and the East Yorkshire Regiment in the year 1911. However, the film is still in developing stage. "We are still developing that script, but the film will happen for sure. I believe football is the new cricket in India," added John.
Apart from that, John will also be seen in Rensil D’Silva’s film on motorcycle racing, Mumbai Saga and has also been approached for desi adaptation of The Transporter.
