Hrithik Roshan mourns the death of mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh, says he is 'deeply saddened'

The country, on Thursday, lost one of its gems, Vashishtha Narayan Singh, who was a prominent mathematician. Vashishtha, who hailed from Bihar, left for his heavenly adobe after suffering from a prolonged illness and mental imbalance. He breathed his last in PMCH- Patna Medical College and Hospital on Thursday, leaving the nation devasted. While his family and the rest of Bihar is soaked into grief, Hrithik Roshan offered his condolence to the family of the deceased through his Twitter account. Hrithik, who played the role of the math wizard Anand Kumar in the recently released Super 30, told that he is deeply saddened by the news.

"Not many people know that yesterday we lost one of the biggest mathematicians that India produced in the modern era. Vashishtha Narayan Singh, born in a village in Bihar, solved some of the most difficult equations of mathematics. Deeply saddened by his demise," Hrithik wrote.

Speaking of late Vashishtha Narayan Singh, he was a genius mathematician from Bihar and his achievements are still mentioned with a sense of pride by Netarhat Vidyalaya. He received Ph.D. in Reproducing Kernels and Operators with a Cyclic Vector from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1969.  Not just this, but he once worked at NASA and California University.
