After launching several posters and a rather interesting teaser, the makers of Emraan Hashmi's The Body have finally dropped the trailer. Directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, the film is inspired by the Spanish thriller El Cuerpo.
Going by the trailer, it is clear that it revolves around a police officer's search for a body gone missing from a morgue. While Rishi Kapoor plays the cop, Sobhita Dhulipala plays Emraan's wife and it is her body that has gone missing. In the case, Emraan is the prime suspect and the situation takes a drastic turn when Rishi learns that the entire fiasco has actually been planned to hide a murder. Soon after, one realises Sobhita's character might still be alive.

Co-starring Vedhika, the film marks Rishi's first project after his return from New York and will see Emraan and Sobhita reuniting after Netflix's The Bard of Blood.
