Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor who have started shooting for Dostana 2 in Chandigarh will not be coming to Delhi for its shoot. According to an entertainment website, the Delhi schedule of the film has been called off due to the severe air pollution in the capital. The film also stars TV star Lakshya and is being directed by Collin D’Cunha.
Apparently, the crew couldn’t breathe in the extremely polluted Delhi air and therefore the shoot was canceled. A source told the entertainment portal, “The cast and crew couldn’t breathe. Visibility was so low that the camera couldn’t capture the shots properly. It was a no-win situation. The team decided to disperse until the weather improves."
Recently, Kartik had shared a BTS picture from the sets of the film. He had shared the image of clapboard from the Dostana sets. Janhvi had also shared pictures from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Dostana 2 is being produced by Karan Johar under his production banner Dharma Productions.
It is the second installment in the franchise. The first installment released in 2008 and starred Priyanka Chopra Jonas, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. It was directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
