Akshay Kumar’s and Nupur Sanon’s music video song Filhall has just been dropped and as promised by the actor it sure is a soulful and romantic track. The teaser had already created waves amongst the fans, many of whom were reminded of the film Namastey London. Akshay and Katrina Kaif soon teamed up to recreate their Namastey London chemistry just for their fans’ enjoyment. However, in Filhall, Akshay and Nupur have done fabulous jobs indeed.
The song is composed by B Praak and written by Jaani. The music video has been directed by Arvindr Khaira. The music video shows Akshay and Nupur as estranged lovers who are now married to different people but a chance encounter brings their repressed love for each other out in the fore. They realize that since they are in a committed relationship with other people they can never be together in this lifetime but they are unable to stop their hearts beating and yearning for each other. Akshay shared the music video on Twitter today.

Earlier in an interview to a leading daily, Akshay had spoken about his decision to star in a music video for the first time and had said, “I think the lyrics and the treatment are so beautifully put together that there was no way I was going to pass up on this opportunity. I didn’t want to be sitting in my van watching TV one day wishing I had been a part of something but thinking I was too established to be a part of it, never, that’s just not me. “
