As we said it! Arjun Kapoor to star in a cross-border love story, Rakul Preet Singh joins the cast

Arjun Kapoor, within seven years of a career in Bollywood, has proven to be an actor who never fails to experiment with different genres of films. Be it comedy, thriller or even romantic, he has done it all and given us some masterpieces to remember. Arjun, after tasting a bitter response at the box-office with India's Most Wanted, is all geared to open the doors of a new genre with the historical drama Panipat, which will release on December 6, 2019. And as the film is a month away, Arjun has taken a step forward and signed a new cross-border drama film. Well, PeepingMoon.com was the first to inform its readers about the film in an exclusive piece dated October 16, 2019, and this time too, we got it right as the makers, in an interview with a leading daily confirmed the news. The yet to be titled project co-stars Rakul Preet Singh and is directed by Kaashvie Nair, who has assisted the producer Nikkhil Advani on his previous ventures. The Arjun-Rakul starrer is said to be a family 'dramedy' with a perfect blend of love, fun, emotions and drama and while speaking on the same with the leading daily, the Ishaqzaade actor said he had a blast while preparing for the same.

“I have grown up in a joint family so I understood that it’s the biggest pillar of love, strength and support. That’s the essence of our film, which has its heart in the right place. I’m having a blast even during the prep,” Arjun told during the interview.
