Gully Boy fame Vijay Varma joins Baaghi 3, to play the role of Tiger Shroff's ally

Vijay Varma, who shot to fame as the street smart Moeen Bhai in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, has proven his mettle as an actor and won the hearts of the audience and critics alike. Not just this, the actor, with his flawless enactment of Ranveer Singh's Murad's confidante, made a climb to the top of every filmmakers' list. While Vijay has a line of interesting projects ahead including Mira Nair's BBC venture titled A Suitable Boy, Hurdang and Zoya's Netflix series Ghost Stories, the actor has taken a step ahead and sealed the deal with Sajid Nadiadwala for an important role in Baaghi 3, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. Vijay, during an interview with a leading daily, confirmed his participation in the action film and informed that he has shot for a few scenes with Tiger and Shraddha during the Mumbai schedule. The Pink actor, giving insights into his character, told that it is a fascinating one who will help Tiger out of a sticky situation in a foreign land. 

“He appears in a foreign land and helps Tiger out of a sticky situation. I’ve already shot with Tiger and Shraddha in Mumbai," Vijay told.

Further talking about his excitement regarding working with Tiger, Vijay added that the shoot in Serbia will last for a month and during the course, he is looking forward to steal some fitness mantra from the Student Of The Year 2 star. “We’ll be there for over a month. Many kids in my family are excited about the film, as they are all Tiger fans. He’s in incredible shape and I’m looking forward to get some fitness mantras from him," Vijay said.

The shoot for Baaghi 3 went on floors on September 12 in Mumbai. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh as Tiger's brother while Shraddha is said to play the role of an air hostess. Ankita Lokhande is roped in to play Shraddha's sister. Directed by Ahmed Khan, major portions of the film will be shot in Serbia for which the team will jet off on November 8. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 3 is scheduled for a March 6, 2020 release.
