Akshay Kumar launched his second song titled Shaitan Ka Saala from Housefull 4 last evening in Hyderabad. Akshay introduced #TheBalaChallenge at the event and kickstarted the challenge with the media present there. He shared the video announcing the challenge on Twitter and captioned it as, "The media in Hyderabad was an absolute sport. Now you guys send me your crazy videos doing Bala’s signature step using #TheBalaChallenge and I’ll share the best entries. Go Bala"
The first one to take up the challenge from Bollywood was Ranveer Singh who enthusiastically danced to the song. The actor recreated the hook step of the song at the wrap-up bash of '83 with producer Sajid Nadiadwala who also happens to be the producer of Housefull 4. The video was shared by Sajid's wife Warda Khan S Nadiadwala who captioned the video as, "Banginggggggg when the #83 Balas Burnt the Dance floor too much fun #83 Wrap #sajidnadiadwala @ranveersingh #Housefull4 @akshaykumar"
Speaking of Housefull 4, the film is a reincarnation drama that is set in two eras and cities that is 1419 in Sitamgarh and in London in 2019. The film is directed by Farhad and is scheduled to release on October 25, 2019. Akshay plays the role of Rajkumar Bala and Harry, Riteish is Bangdu Maharaj and Roy, Dharamputra and Max is played by Bobby, Kriti Sanon is Rajkumari Madhu and Kriti, Pooja plays Rajkumari Mala and Pooja while Kriti Kharbanda is Rajkumari Meena and Neha.
