Janhvi Kapoor collaborates with father Boney Kapoor for a film titled 'Bombay Girl', to be directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy

Janhvi Kapoor, with her debut film Dhadak in 2018, made a remarkable entry into Bollywood and since then, she has been winning hearts. Although the Kapoor girl is just one film old, she has managed to bag some interesting projects into her kitty including The Kargil Girl, Dostana 2, RoohiAfza and Takht. And now, it seems she has taken yet another step ahead and has been roped in a project that is produced by her father Boney Kapoor. Well, yes. Janhvi, for the first time, will collaborate with Boney for film, reportedly titled Bombay Girl. 

Taran Adarsh, a renowned trade analyst, on Monday, on his Instagram account, informed that Bombay Girl will be directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy and will be co-produced by Mahaveer Jain. The story is said to revolve around a rebellious young girl and will be a coming of age film. "IT'S OFFICIAL... Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor team up for a movie for the first time... Titled #BombayGirl.... Coming of age story of a rebellious teenager... Directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy... Boney will produce the film with Mahaveer Jain," Taran wrote.

Workwise, Janhvi will be seen as IAF Pilot Gunjan Saxena in The Kargil Girl which is slated to release on March 13, 2020 while RoohiAfza will open at theatres on April 17 next year. Dostana 2 and Takht are yet to get their release dates. On the other hand, Boney is bankrolling Ajay Devgn-Keerthy Suresh starrer Maidaan.
