Ranveer Singh's '83 team will wrap the shoot of Kabir Khan's film today and with this, the final schedule of the film will be completed. Deepika Padukone, who is not only acting in the film but also co-producing it, is really excited about the wrap. Now as the shoot wraps up, the actress is planning to throw a bash for the cast and crew at BKC in Mumbai.
“Deepika wants to celebrate the journey of the shoot of ’83. She has personally written a letter to each and everyone from the team inviting them for the party,” said a source.
Her letter read, “Member of team ’83, Over the last several months iconic moments have been relieved and memories have been etched in our hearts forever. I am beyond proud to be a part of a team that is driven by love, passion, enthusiasm and eternally grateful for your contribution. And for this, I would like to invite you to a celebration! Lots of Love, Deepika Padukone”
Kabir Khan shared a video from the sets today, announcing their last day at the shoot.
Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev, who lead the underdog Indian cricket team to a famous victory against the mighty West Indies in the final of the 1983 World Cup. His wife Deepika plays Kapil's wife Romi. '83 also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, and Chirag Patil among others. The film is co-produced by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
